Pet Care by Tiger takes safety seriously which is why Tiger is a proud member of Pet Sitters Associates. Rest assured knowing that while your beloved Pet is in Auntie Tiger’s care he/she is
insured.

Please note that luxury dog boarding, luxury dog daycare, and luxury pack hikes take place in a social setting. This means that unless you reserve a house sitting, house visit, or luxury urban walk service, your pet will be socializing and commingling with other furry friends at Auntie Tiger’s house during the entire duration of the scheduled service. If you do not want your pet(s) to commingle and socialize, you must notify Tiger promptly at the time of making your reservation.

Please know that luxury urban walk, house sitting, and/or house visit services may be provided by one of Tiger’s amazing and trustworthy subcontractors.

Please know that this is an off-leash service. Exceptions may be made upon Tiger’s approval.

Tiger’s long-term clients are those who have used its services for a year or longer.

All pets must participate in an evaluation process to determine service eligibility. Please refer to Tiger’s policies and guidelines for further information.

SERVICE AGREEMENT

• Luxury Boarding, House Sitting, andor House Visitss:
  • New Clients: A deposit equal to 25% of the total cost/charge is due at the time of the reservation; 25% of the total cost/chargecost is due at the start of the scheduled service date; and the remaining balance (50% of total cost/charge) is due at the Pet pick-up time.
  • Long-Term Clients: Full payments arePayment in full is due at the end of the month. If You would like a different payment schedule/arrangement, please notify Tiger.
• Luxury Day Care, Luxury Pack Hikes, and Luxuryor On-leashUrban Walks: A $50.00 deposit per Pet is due at the time of the reservation.

• Outside-Business-Hours: A $5.00 outside of business hours pet drop or pick up fee will be charged per occurrence.
• Holiday Ratess:An additional $20.00 dollars will be added to the luxury boarding, luxury day care, and the house sitting service rate. An additional $20.00 dollars will be added to the luxury pack hike, luxury urban walk, and the house visit service rate.
  • Holiday rates apply to the holiday day, and the two (2) days before and after the holiday.
  • Tiger’s holidays are New Year’s, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
• Oopsies: A $5.00-dollar oopsie fee will be charged if your Pet(s) pees or poos inside the house or in the car.
• Special Needs: A $5.00 special needs Pet fee will be charged if your Pet(s) needs to be separated from the group, needs to be on-leash for a hike (upon Tiger’s prior approval), barks excessively, has separation anxiety, is excessively shy or skittish, requires medication administration, or if he/she has health or behavioral problems.
• Unexpected Overnight Guest:If your Pet(s) unexpectedly ends up joining the slumber party at Auntie Tiger’s house, You will be charged the full rate of the service(s) actually provided. To illustrate, if You drop your Pet on Monday at 7:00 a.m. for a luxury day care session, but do not pick him/her up until Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. (a 36 hour stay period) You will be charged the luxury dog boarding rate (the first 24 hour stay period (including 1 luxury pack hike)) plus a luxury dog day care rate (the remaining 12 hour stay period which would include a second luxury pack hike).
• Additional Hike: If your Pet(s) is not picked up according to the reservation and has to join his/her other furry friends on a second pack hike, You will be charged and responsible for the additional hike at the regular luxury pack hike rate.

Payments can be made via Zelle.

All services require a reservation. The provision of all scheduled services is subject to your Pet’s full compliance with Tiger’s health and behavioral requirements.

• Luxury Boarding, House Sitting, and House Visits: You will forfeit your deposit if You cancel your reservation less than five (5) days prior to the start date of the scheduled service.
• Luxury Day Care, Luxury Pack Hike, and Luxury Urban Walk: You will forfeit your deposit if You cancel your reservation less than two (2) days prior to the start date of the scheduled service.

You hereby represent that You are the owner of the Pet(s) and that You are fully authorized to enter into this agreement. You hereby represent that all the information about You and your Pet(s) provided herein is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge. In a custody dispute Tiger will require proof of ownership (a written property settlement agreement, a court decree, or proof of purchase).

You must designate an Agent at the time of, or prior to, the start of the scheduled service date. Your Agent will be contacted in the event that You are unable to be reached, especially in case of an emergency. Your Agent must be over the age of 18 and be someone other than the primary Pet(s) owner(s). If You are traveling during the scheduled date(s) of service, your agent must not be someone traveling with You.

You hereby authorize Tiger to contact your Agent. You hereby authorize your Agent to pick up your Pet(s) and/or make any and all decisions regarding him/her, including but not limited to health-related decisions and approval of expenditure of funds for, or on behalf of your Pet(s). Tiger may require your Agent to show a government-issued identification before releasing your Pet(s) to him/her. No person other than your authorized agent, will be allowed to pick up your pet.

In the event of an emergency or natural disaster, every effort will be made to contact You or your Agent to arrange the pick-up of your Pet. You hereby authorize Tiger, in its sole discretion, to transport, and/or make temporary alternative arrangements to house and care for your Pet until You or your Agent can pick him/her up. You hereby acknowledge and understand that, despite Tiger’s best efforts, it may not always be possible to safely evacuate your Pet in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.

Please do not bring or leave any items with your Pet(s) that are valuable or irreplaceable. Tiger is not responsible for the loss or damage to any personal item or toy left with your Pet(s).

Tiger reserves the right to refuse service(s) at the beginning of the scheduled service date for any reason, including without limitation, if your Pet(s) looks sick, injured, in pain, or if it appears that your Pet’s behavior can jeopardize the health and safety of other Pet(s) or staff.

• Aggressive Dogs: Tiger does not accept Pet(s) with aggressive predispositions. Tiger considers “aggressive behavior” behavior that is likely to cause bleeding in an animal or human.
• You hereby represent that your Pet(s) is not sick or injured. You hereby represent that You have disclosed to Tiger all of your Pet’s known medical conditions and/or behavioral problems (including but not limited to aggressive or biting behavior), which may affect your Pet’s care, safety and/or health and/or the care, safety and/or health of any of our other furry guests. You hereby agree to promptly notify Tiger of any and all changes in your Pet’s medical condition and/or behavior. In the event that your Pet’s behavior results in injury to a person or another Pet and/or animal, You hereby agree to release Tiger of any and all responsibility and to bear any and all expenses resulting from your Pet’s conduct. You acknowledge and understand that your Pet may be isolated and kept apart from other furry friends and/or staff if Tiger in its reasonable belief determines that your Pet may be in danger or that his/her/their conduct, behavior, or aggressive display endangers the health, care, and/or safety of other pets, animals, or staff.
• Youth Dogs: All dogs must be at least four (4) months old and have received all rounds of vaccines.
• Luxury Pack Hikes: You hereby understand and acknowledge that all luxury pack hikes are conducted off leash which is why all Pets attending this service must have basic obedience training/skills and be animal and human friendly. By reserving this service, You consent to the taking of your Pet on an off-leash pack hike. By reserving this service, You represent that your Pet has the basic obedience and training skills necessary to attend and that he/she/they is/are animal and human friendly. You hereby release Tiger from any and all liability arising from and/or in connection with your Pet’s luxury pack hike attendance.
• Vaccines: Your Pet must be up to date with his/her/their vaccines. Proof of current vaccinations is required. Tiger requires the following vaccines:
  • Rabies
  • Distemper (DHPP-distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus)
  • Canine Influenza (H3N2 or H3N8)
  • Leptospirosis
  • Bordetella
• Fleas/Ticks: If, at any time, your Pet is found to have fleas or ticks, Tiger will require your Pet to undergo appropriate flea or tick removal treatment. You hereby authorize Tiger to provide appropriate treatment, at your expense. Payment of any such treatment is due at pick up.
• Senior Pet(s): Because Tiger prioritizes your Pet’s safety, Tiger reserves the right to accept or refuse service to senior pets on a case-by-case basis. If Tiger agrees to provide service(s) to your senior Pet, You hereby agree to detail in writing all of your senior Pet’s special needs care including but not limited to dietary restrictions, medical conditions, and medication directions. You hereby agree to detail in writing all of your Pet’s requirements and/or instructions to be followed in the event that your senior Pet has an emergency while in Tiger’s care. You hereby agree to provide your preferred veterinarian with a signed letter authorizing service and treatment to your senior Pet if he/she is taken in by Tiger in case of an emergency. You hereby agree to leave a credit card on file with your preferred veterinarian and to grant him/her express consent to charge any and all service or treatment provided to your senior Pet if he/she is taken in by Tiger, and/or to only bill You directly for these services.
  
  Please note that while Tiger may accept senior pets and pets with chronic conditions that require long-term medication(s), Tiger will not accept pets that are in frail health as a result of their age and/or condition.
• Pregnancies: You hereby release Tiger of any and all responsibility in the event that a female pet becomes pregnant during the scheduled service date(s).

• Infectious Illnesses: While Tiger hopes and wishes your Pet a full and prompt recovery, if your Pet has recently been treated for or become infected with a contagious illness, Tiger, for everyone’s health and safety, will not accept your Pet for at least two (2) weeks post treatment completion. You will also need to show a statement of health from a licensed veterinarian at the start of the scheduled service date. You hereby agree to promptly disclose and/or notify Tiger of any and all known exposures to and/or infectious illnesses contracted by your Pet.

  You hereby represent and affirm that your Pet has not been exposed to rabies, distemper, or parvovirus within 30 days prior to the beginning of the scheduled service date.

• Medical Emergencies: You hereby acknowledge and agree that in the unlikely event that your Pet becomes ill or injured, or if your Pet has a preexisting condition which is exacerbated during the scheduled service date and requires professional attention, Tiger will attempt to notify You or your Agent at the telephone numbers You have provided. Please note that You are responsible for maintaining all contact information for You and your Agent current. If we cannot reach You or your Agent, Tiger, at its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian and/or administer medicine or give other necessary attention to your Pet. You hereby authorize Tiger to seek medical treatment and provide any such recommended service to your Pet at your expense. You hereby agree to reimburse Tiger for the full cost of said medical care and/or treatment at the time of pick up. If reasonably necessary, Tiger reserves the right to take your Pet to the veterinarian before attempting to contact You. If at any time You refuse medical treatment for your Pet, Tiger may, in its sole discretion, engage the services of a veterinarian and/or administer medicine to make your Pet as comfortable as possible until he/she/they is/are picked up by You or your Agent. You hereby authorize Tiger to provide any such service and agree to reimburse Tiger for the cost of the medical care and treatment. You hereby understand and agree that if Tiger cannot reach You or your Agent, Tiger will make healthcare decisions for your Pet based on the recommendation(s) of available professionals.
• Death: In the unfortunate event that your Pet passes away while in Tiger’s care, Tiger will have your Pet held at a veterinary facility until You or your Agent is able to retrieve him/her/them. If you wish, and at your sole expense, Tiger will arrange to have your Pet cremated. If Tiger cannot reach You or your Agent in a timely manner, You hereby consent and authorize Tiger to engage the services of a veterinarian to perform a necropsy on your Pet and to cremate him/her/them.

I hereby grant Tiger consent to take my Pet on the following free of charge trip adventures:

You hereby understand and agree that Tiger is under no obligation to take your Pet on any one of these adventures. You hereby understand and agree that these adventures are not guaranteed nor bargained for as per the terms of this agreement.

If your Pet is not picked up within fourteen (14) days after it was initially scheduled to be picked up, and Tiger has been unable to reach You or your Agent, he/she/they will be considered abandoned. Tiger will first try for a period of not less than ten (10) days to find your Pet a new forever home. However, if Tiger is unsuccessful, he/she/they will be surrendered to a public animal control agency or shelter, an American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals shelter, a Humane Society shelter, or a nonprofit animal rescue group, provided the agency, shelter, institution or organization has agreed to take the animal(s).

Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the safety of our guests. You hereby acknowledge and agree that in the unlikely event that your Pet is injured by any of our other furry guests, YOU WILL RELEASE AND FOREVER DICHARGE TIGER, ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUBCONTRACTORS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH SAID INJURY.

You hereby grant Tiger permission to take pictures and videos of your Pet and publish them in any of Tiger’s social media platforms, including but not limited to, YouTube, Instagram, Snapshot, Twitter, Facebook. You understand and agree that these pictures and videos can be used for advertising, marketing, web content, brochures, newsletters, promotional items, or for any other similar purpose. You hereby agree and promise not to make any monetary or equitable claim against Tiger for the use of any and all pictures and videos of your Pet taken by Tiger.

You hereby agree to forever release, on your behalf and on behalf of your assignees, heirs, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives, Tiger, its agents, employees, contractors, and subcontractors from any and all liability, including but not limited to, damage, injury, claim, obligation, cost, and/or destruction or loss of property (including your Pet, other pet guests or animals) arising from or in connection with any and all services provided to You and your Pet and/or from Tiger, its agents, employees, contractors, subcontractors, invitees, and licensees’ acts or omissions, and/or the failure of Tiger, its agents, employees, contractors, and subcontractors’ to perform any obligation under this contract.

You hereby agree to forever indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Tiger, its agents, employees, contractors, subcontractors, invitees, and licensees against third parties from any and all liability, including but not limited to, damage, injury, claim, obligation, cost, and/or destruction or loss of property (including your Pet, other pet guests or animals), arising from or related to your Pet’s conduct, and/or Tiger, its agents, employees, contractors, subcontractors, invitees, and licensees’ acts or omissions, or the failure of Tiger, its agents, employees, contractors, and subcontractors’ to perform any obligation under this contract.

In the event of litigation, the losing party shall pay the prevailing party’s reasonable attorney’s fees and costs of suit.

The validity, interpretation, construction, and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

This written Agreement, including all of its exhibits, represents the entire understanding between the parties and all of their respective obligations and supersedes all prior understandings, agreements, negotiations, and proposals, whether written or oral, formal or informal between the same. If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
